Just looking at some files from harvest and saw this. A 2 image handheld stitch with the little  S90 taken from the back step of the header , I had to stop the header and get a shot of this. I think this was the same night Jamie P and Mark S shot the sunset on the beach a week or so ago.

Might be a bit over sharpened but apart from that this is as it was.

Another Shot Along The Frosty Walk.

Posted by mervfrench on July 20, 2010

Same deal here, further along the walk and another snap of a -5 frost shot with the Canon S90.  I’d probably never go for a walk at home  if it was zero let alone – 5 , but we really enjoyed this.

Testing the little ripper.

Posted by mervfrench on May 4, 2010

I recently bought a Canon S90 compact for happy snaps. Nothing worse than lugging a DSLR around when you know your just getting a few family holiday snaps.

It has loads of features, 10mp  shoots RAW and fits in your shirt pocket , a little ripper.

See what these guys have to say about it here .

Anyway here’s a happy snap taken with it . 3 shots,  hand held at 6mm ( 28equiv. ) ,  f3.5,   ISO 125 ,   1/60th sec,   and stitched in PTGUI.

We went down for a beer at the marina in Pt. Douglas  Qld. and I snapped this on the way out. Not too bad all thing’s considered.
