Same Same but Different.

Posted by mervfrench on October 16, 2011

I went back to the same place as below tonight as it looked like the sunset may be ok.

There was a fire in the west as you can see by the smoke which helped the sun along a little.

The bales that were here yesterday have been picked up and bundled by machine ready to be carted to the sheds.

Better than my sunset shots, I ended up having a beer and a chat with Ray and only took a couple of snaps of them loading the trucks.

  5. Love it Merv. Fantastic firey sky.

The sky is captivating – the bales in the paddock look a little dark where they are in shadow, but overall nice composition with leading lines. Hope you got some pure sky shots for another time.

  7. Top shot Merv, that sky is amazing.

Cool shot Merv, I went out the same day, got a truck coming into town on the bypass with the sunset in the background. Hey, I don’t seem to have your email address, but I wanted to let you know there’s an exhibition on at AVAS of images from around the area, by two photojournalists – am going to email Mick Marriot and Hodgy and see if they want to come and see it with me sometime – let me know if you are interested in joining us!
