I’m not getting out much lately and when I have I’ve come back with not much to show, must be that time of the year.  So to keep things going I’ve posted this shot taken in January this year at Quindalup near Dunsborough, the home of legendary and hugely popular photographer Christian Fletcher.   This print was given a Highly Commended at the recent York Photographic Exhibition and I was very pleased with the result. It was printed on Kodak Metalic paper and that really made the shot pop.

Stacky voted it the best landscape he saw in the show …thanks Stacky , your a kid with taste.

  1. Very nice Merv … Feeling the same the last 2 weeks or so, ben out a lot but have not jagged any real nice light. Plus I have been overly trying to shoot something cool and not doing what I usually do, heading out with no plan involved and just shoot what presents itself …. Lesson learnt you’ll be happy to know. Starting next week things should be good ….

I like the old fishing boat in with the million $ boats classic 🙂

  2. Highly Commended Merv, nice looking image. It’s god to see the working man’s vessel in with the cream, was it an easy stitch?

  3. nice work Merv.
    great shot with nice light.

i’ve not got out either, but been forced to drive on with some nice farm scenes bathed in awesome light many times… but i’ve been rushing to get to events and sporting games. it’s been killing me!
hopefully soon we’ll all get something 🙂
